Full-day tour to the Cape Peninsula

This morning after a healthy and heavy breakfast we headed towards the port. The whole day was all about a full-day tour to the Cape Peninsula. We wanted to visit the seals 🦭. We headed over to the Hout Bay seal 🦭 Island cruise 🚢.

This is located around 20 km away from the main city and usually takes around half an hour to reach. As you drive through the Cape peninsula expect the most breathtaking views of Chapman’s peak drive and the Sentinel Mountains. You need to take a mini-cruise from the Hout bay harbour to Duiker Island to see the seal colony. It is a 40-minute cruise to the seal colony. As you reach you get to experience thousands of wild cape fur seals.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCES IN Cape Town

The western flank of the mountain falls sharply for hundreds of metres into the Atlantic Ocean, and a road, known as Chapman’s Peak Drive. This is the most scenic drive for tourists.

There are various viewpoints alongside the road, to visit and to enjoy the most memorable day. It is around 9 km long. This was one of the most beautiful rides one can ever experience. This is just absolutely stunning with beautiful curves along the road and various viewpoints. Just go slow, stop in between and enjoy the journey with the family.
