Hey everyone, we are hoomies. Hope you all are doing good and in great health. Hope you like reading our travelogues and it encourages you to plan your life’s most memorable holidays.

In this post, we wanted to talk all about the city of Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦.

After a nice beautiful visit to The Table Mountain, we headed back to our hotels by afternoon. We took a cableway back to the lower point and finally reached our hotel. Enjoyed a nice evening time roaming around the city and enjoying some amazing delicious 🤤 cuisine. It was a nice happening time here.

The only thing you need to be cautious about is to avoid carrying too much cash in Cape Town, it’s a bit risky. Being one of the most visited places in South Africa, it attracts various pickpockets. Avoid carrying too much cash, and too much expensive stuff while roaming around the city. Apart from this, try to be in groups and avoid waking on the empty streets. It’s just not safe.

Things to do:

  • Visit the CapeTown harbor
  • Cape Town waterfront Cruise adventures
  • Helicopter 🚁 rides
  • Water bikes 🏍
  • Half-day hike at the Table mountains 🏔
  • Street shooting
  • Tour to the Winelands
  • Whale watching
  • Chapman’s peak drive

After a nice stay, the next morning we decided to head over to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

This is one of the most happening places to be in Cape Town. Situated just in between the two harbors, it serves as a most buzzing entertainment place here. With lots of shops, malls, the harbor out in front, art galleries, street shops, is one of the very interesting entertainment destinations. This reminds you of the same in San Francisco.

Loved the atmosphere in here. It was soo lovely spending time with your loved ones, watching people dancing 💃, walking, sitting and enjoying themselves.

It is one of the most visited destinations in South Africa, attracting millions of tourists round the year. Set on the edge of a natural, historic working harbor with the iconic Table Mountain as its backdrop, it offers all the visitors a mix of experiences ranging from leisure, shopping, and exclusive entertainment.

You can spend as much time as you in here. The beauty, the charm, the beautiful backdrop adds to its uniqueness.

The entire area is divided into 5 shopping areas: Victoria Wharf, the Watershed, The Alfred Mall and Pierhead, The Clock Tower, and Breakwater Point.

You will find everything in here ranging from local designers to some big-shot International designers. From the local talents displaying their art and culture to art and jewelry. You will just find everything at one particular spot. No need to worry about your stomach as you have splendid options to meet your hunger. If you after something a little more relaxed, head over to the Food Market where you’ll find regional delicacies, artisanal bread and cheeses, craft beers, vegan treats, and biltong. It’s foodie heaven !! Definitely, one of the must-visits in Cape Town.

After spending a beautiful 🤩 morning here we decided to head over to a local restaurant in here for our lunch, and then decided to go on for a nice city tour.

As we traveled we passed by the city halls, The Parliament Building, Company Gardens, Slave Lodge, and various other beautiful monuments.

Followed by this we had booked yourselves a helicopter 🚁 ride. We took a ride to enjoy the scenic beauty of this beautiful city. They even offer vineyard tours.
