A Day out in Table Mountain

Hey everyone, we are hoomies. Hope you all are doing good and in great health. Hope you like reading our travelogues and it encourages you to plan your life’s holidays.

In this post, we wanted to talk about the very famous mountain ranges all across Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦.

In the previous blogs, we spoke about the very famous Cango Caves and the Ostrich Farm. We covered these on the way to Cape Town. After visiting Cape Town and having a spot in between for lunch, we continued our journey towards Cape Town.

It was a really long journey from here. We covered around 450 Kms in around 5 and half hours. It was a really long day. After covering half of the journey, we took a stop 🛑 along the highway 🛣. Following this, we again started moving forwards.

We were in Cape Town by the evening. It was already late evening when we reached our hotel. We had booked ourselves in Hotel Westin, Cape Town.

On arrival, we checked in into the hotel and were greeted very well by the staff. We were taken to our rooms. It was a really tiring day. We got freshen up and then headed downstairs for our dinner. The dinner was a typical India Style dinner 🍽. The food was just so delicious and even the presentation was amazing 🤩.

This was all for the day. The next day we had some amazing plans to enjoy wandering around in such a happening destination.

We got up in the morning, got freshened up, and proceeded for the breakfast. The breakfast was served on the ground floor, it was a nice lavish continental breakfast 🥞 with lots of varieties to choose from. After a yummy delicious breakfast, we got into our cab 🚕. Our plan was to visit the very famous Table Mountains.

A Day out in Table Mountain

Just walk around, and enjoy nature’s beauty. You can sit around and feel the beauty of Nature. As you walk around you get to experience and see various other beautiful peaks all around. It definitely is one of my favorite places to visit.

A must-visit in Cape Town. They even a lot of restaurants serving all kinds of meals even for vegetarians out there. The food quality is also amazing 🤩. Imagine them arranging stuff at such a peak and serving it with so much passion is worth appreciating.

Apart from the restaurants, you will find some cute nice shops, in case you are planning to carry some momento with you. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but what can you expect from these tourists places.

We had a memorable and one of the best times out here. Just sitting here, soaking into the beauty was so refreshing. Even the view out there, the clouds just calm your body, mind, and soul. This is like a surprise packet, with lots of surprises unfurling as you reach higher and higher.

Apart from being one of the most famous landmarks, it is home to about 2,200 species of plants and floral species. The Cape Floral region of the national park is one of the richest floral regions in the world. Over 70% of the flowers are endemic to Table Mountain. It is no wonder that the mountain was chosen as one of the new seven world wonders.

A Day out in Table Mountain

Just be prepared to experience the worst of temperatures out there sometimes, better to always carry your jackets, mufflers, caps 🧢. It is a bit on a very chiller side. The view is just so extraordinary. It is one of the most photographed Mountain ranges in South Africa. You will see them throughout Cape Town.

Hope you all loved reading 📖 us. We will be back soon with some fresh and some more happening destinations.

With lots of love
